... tired so we Ubered. Picked up and delivered back to the Hotel in under 15min and for about $6. Time for a much needed cup tea/coffee, then a spa before we walked back to Downtown Disney for dinner and to farewell Disneyland. It was very busy there, prob for 2 reasons. Disney is hosting 2 events, tomorrow is a 5/10/half marathon and also at midnight the Disney Store is opening for the release of the new Star Wars movie toy line, exciting. So lots of geeks about. We then walked to the Empire State Building, took the lift to the 80th floor then walked the last 6. Another spectacular view of the skyline – MANHATTAN is SPECTACULAR at night.

We landed on time at LAX and I didn’t have to wait long for my next flight. While this flight took off on time, the fire in Chicago at the FAA was still having ripple effects and they had to re-route us over Canada so we had to add time to an already long flight.

... to treat ourselves to a hotel. So we stayed in a cheap hotel in Redondo Beach, which was very refreshing after staying in yet another sketchy/dirty hostel. Plus we were minutes from the beach which always makes me happy. We went to Redondo Beach, which is south of Hermosa Beach. Both were beautiful. Hermosa is a little bit nicer, but Redondo has a cool little harbor and shops all around it. Hermosa is more of a ...
