... hotel to get changed & I'm starving, it's around 3pm. Over Italian & it's quite expensive in Nice we find McDonald's opposite the beach. Mcchicken never tasted so good. I enjoy trying different foods but we realise Australia has got multicultural cuisine pretty good. I'm looking forward to some BBQ sauce & strange craving for a meat pie. Granny's homemade ones with tomato sauce. After maccas across the road is a tourist train that takes you around ...

That must be the local time frame because it took Sarah and I three hours, however, we stopped half way to bask in the hot sun and drink wine and eat lunch! ... of the border between Italy and France. The day was HOT… HOT …and after walking the Esplanade along the ocean , with many folk already sunbathing an swimming on its stony beach , we came to the ‘little white train’…These are very reasonable in price, and give a great overview quickly of an area. SO on it we jumped - travelling to the Italian border and back up through the medieval quarter… still very populated, and the little train only ...

Today Rosie and I did a day trip together as the others had a late night and couldn't be bothered to join! We got the train to Cannes, walked around the city, the port and then the beach. We saw the building where the Cannes Film Festival is held and stopped for a coffee. We then got the train to Antibes for lunch which was also very beautiful and had a lovely beach and old town. The water in the south of France is crystal clear and so inviting, all I want to do is go to the beach ...
