... about how perfume is made....didn't buy anything but my bag smells nice now! Into Nice where our bus crawled along the Boulevard.....6 kilometres of people watching. Our hotel, the Radisson is at the other end of the beach from the old town. Modern hotel with the usual amenities right on the beach. We had a free night tonight so we "partied" in Sandra and Peters room. We had bought salami, cheese, bread and wine........the only good thing to come out of ...

... Another day trip took us to the little village of Eze. The main tourist site is the climb to the top of the old structures for a spectacular view of the ocean and towns. Too bad that it was not the clearest of days. Nothing you can do about that! The rest of the time has been spent relaxing, shopping, dining and of course drinking Wine! It is the last night here, so I will get this one off. The pictures of the Regatta, our coastal drive and Eze will have to ...

We climbed a zillion steps to the palace & watched the changing of the guards. David & Kim Foley joined us which was an ...

Had the best meal today. Saltimboca alla Romano. Baby cows gave up their lives for this meal but I think it was worth it! J's quote of the day when I ate the last bit of my food "Spit it out and give it to me! I bet it would still taste good!" We saw our first set of "ugly americaines" here. We were glad we got to ...

... them. I can see how saintly they are compared to the demanding selfish au-pair kids. And no I ain't biased!

With Carol I actually got dressed up properly for Halloween for maybe the first time ever. We were bloody vampires. Went to the only bar in town. A Cuban one decked out for the holiday. Made friends with some circus kids. Fun night!

On Friday we went to Nice for a zombie walk. Who knew playing dead and hungry could be such ...
