    ... for Monday night. We got to thinking about the drive and home, and decided to see if we could change our reservations to Sunday night, leaving a day early from here. So we did, and the hotel could accommodate us for Sunday night. Mac and Josie were very glad to be leaving early – they are a bit homesick and really missing their friends and our pets.

    ... naïve we were, as there were probably as many Cardinal fans at the stadium as there were Padres fans. Whodathunk?

    Mark had found front row seats through Stub Hub, right down the third base line. Our first clue that things might be different was that they had taken down all the batting practice screens. No BP baseballs today. Groups of kids were walking the field and no players were to be seen.

    ... Café and had a nice, shady lunch. Yes, it’s still hot here. Hope you all in St. Louis are still enjoying the weather we were to have here! Not as bad as the temps at Disney, shadier park and fewer people, but it is still so humid here.

    ... in the person in front reclined their seat and the world changed. Fortunately there was a spare seat in the middle or this would have been 13 hrs of torture... Yep, screw the penal system from now on inmates are sentenced to time in economy. 12 months in that seat and you will never reoffend. The only positive thing is the 10" screen looks huge when you can select the movie you want by pressing it with your eyelid (without moving your head). ...
