... for Monday night. We got to thinking about the drive and home, and decided to see if we could change our reservations to Sunday night, leaving a day early from here. So we did, and the hotel could accommodate us for Sunday night. Mac and Josie were very glad to be leaving early – they are a bit homesick and really missing their friends and our pets.
... back to our hotel so we could jump in the pool and wake up. I won the grumpy stick as I just wanted to go to sleep, but Des persuaded me to stay up and try to adjust unless I was DOOMED!!
After a few glasses of wine I gave in and we took the kids to dinner, which was a huge waste of time and money because they nearly all fell asleep in the restaurant.

Mark had found front row seats through Stub Hub, right down the third base line. Our first clue that things might be different was that they had taken down all the batting practice screens. No BP baseballs today. Groups of kids were walking the field and no players were to be seen.
