The Uffizi Gallery is a wonderful – we visited for three hours. Don't forget to book in advance. If you have problems, you can ask your hotel to book for you. We did this and they were only able to get both galleries on the same day. Lots of famous paintings in a

In San Giovanni church, I pay 2E to see tomb of Ilara Del Carretto
“which is a masterpiece of Italian funerary sculpture” (church

There are lots of museums here including the Museo Criminale with an exhibit on serial killers. Too gory for me. I find some of religious art hard enough to look at. We chance across a modern art exhibit where the icons of John Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe are combined with Botticelli's beautiful women.
