After Trier, we headed to Cologne to see the cathedral. Cologne is a big city and we had a heck of time finding the parking and then lugging our stuff into the hotel--a little stressful :). Once we got settled, we headed straight to the cathedral. It's a bit like the grand canyon in that you can't appreciate just how big it is until you experience in person. My plane to germany was huge, so I explaned to the flight attendant my situation and so for the last part of my flight and landing she moved me into business class to land so I can be the first person to get off the plane and onto my next flight. We landed and I ran as fast as my feet could go. I went straight to where they told me and it was ropped off, due to construction. So I asked where to go, no English, asked the next, no English. Finally I saw people coming from my ...
