          ... for a table and having two beers and leaving for the next pub. Home at 10:30 or the ship leaves!! We had our friends Carol and Rob in our group so that made it fun. It was so loud everywhere we couldn't hear the guide. All the locals were so young and we looked like a group of fish out of water...or beer, as it were...We should have gone back to Papa Joe's and just listened to the fake musicians and soccer fans! ...

          ... the city hall dating back to 1200 although it has been extended twice with different architectural style. It has been rebuilt after being extensively damaged by allied bombing in WWII. The highlight was the Cologne cathedral, which is the second tallest church in Germany, is a magnificent structure. German :-/ The walk back to the van saw us stumble on a Rod Stewart lookie like wearing only a leather thong, we took the opportunity for a photo but the man left us with a bad BO smell on our coats that may never go :-/ what a mistake!
