    ... and the cost was 26 Swiss francs - and we get about 75 Swiss francs for 1AUD. I purchased some Swiss postage stamps and they too were more expensive that the UK and Germany. We figured out where our meeting place was and met up with the tour director at 1.30pm. We then got on the Insight bus and headed south to Lucerne, it took about an hour.     I must make this short because I cannot get my phone wifi to work and am using the hotel computer... and I have a very ritzy room and and nice warm bath waiting for me upstair on the top floor ;) .     ... here and it's mind blowing - the mountains go on and on and it just never seems to end. We walk to the top of Rigi and it's like being on top of the world - you have a perfect 360 of everything around you. On one side there are just mountains and on the the other, lakes and valleys. It's pure Switz.

    ... cogwheel railway- some of the ascents were 48% gradient - made it very interesting if not scary looking backward and forward for that matter. Initially we went through forest then into farm land. The girls were very excited to see cows with bells. I don't think there would be any peace in the countryside cos man those bells are noisy. I really struggle to see how their farming can get close to economic as there are only about 20 cows ...
