    ... with someone I have known since High School, who has seen where I grew up, went to school and where I lived over the last 25years. She said it was really strange to visit me here in my new home..and I never thought about it, but I guess it would be for me as well if the roles were reversed. Never would I have imagined that I would have taken such a dramatic turn in my life, but never more thankful that I made that decision :0) ...

    ... to pay a little more. Took the train through several small communities on the way. The countryside was lovely as usual and there is a nature preserve in this area where we might see some wildlife....deer.

    It was a narrow gauge line with full width carriages and a ratchet gear down the center of the track to cope with the climbs and very steep descents through the mountains

    It was amazing, rivers, snow peaks, little villages,..ups and downs and around sweeping bends etc.

    We loved every minute of it.....the scenery on the two state rail sections were also very good,...it was a long day but fantastic, just like we imagined Switzerland would be like.

    ... here and it's mind blowing - the mountains go on and on and it just never seems to end. We walk to the top of Rigi and it's like being on top of the world - you have a perfect 360 of everything around you. On one side there are just mountains and on the the other, lakes and valleys. It's pure Switz.
