... are covered in painted art work and beautiful colors. Our halls twist and turn with a typical small elevator and this one has a blank wall that we try to remember not to lean against when moving up and down. The next lesson in this old elevator is to push the door open when you get to your floor. We are on the third floor which is deceiving as the numbers start on the third floor, so we are really on the fifth floor. The front door ...

We walk to the top of Rigi and it's like being on top of the world - you have a perfect 360 of everything around you. On one side there are just mountains and on the the other, lakes and valleys. It's pure Switz.

It's cold, wind blowing, my hair is all in my mouth and I'm pretty chilled. There is a restaurant there that ...

... the pricey side as is most of Switzerland!

As much as we loved Lake Geneva and Lausanne (prob our fav spot in Switzerland) we left and headed for the Alps! Zermatt was our first stop. It was a beautiful sunny day and the drive up was fabulous we were surrounded by green hills, so different to the image of Zermatt in the snowy winter! We didn't see any big signs, though I had read cars were not allowed into Zermatt, but ...
