        ... entirely new and pristine. The inside is entirely new and equally amazing! We went to lunch at a traditional German restaurant - there were lots of locals inside and we took it as a good sign. I was not disappointed! I finally had a German sausage with sauerkraut and it was so delicious! We are back on the bus now and just crossed the border into the Czech Republic! Prague won't be long ...

        It was a bit odd to see this concentration camp site that is an active town. The residents have left many of the barracks empty and unkept, but they live and work right beside them. A bit surreal.

        The rest of our day was spent eating from street vendors, shopping, and walking around the old town the last time. We ended with dinner on the old town square and walking along the river to see the castle lit up at ...

        It was an early departure the next morning involving three trains, and while on the first one had to quickly jump off, run up a few cars and jump back on to make sure we continued in the right direction. Our next train was a quick transfer to a two car train for a 45 minute ride. Then it was an hour wait at what felt like an abandoned train station before the single car sitting there the entire time' started up ...

        ... Tim, and we're just talking about his trip and what not. He soon states that he thinks he going to start talking in his sleep again. I, of course, thinks that means he is too awake if he can say it's going to happen, but then... hahaha, WOW! Does he start saying some CRAZY things, hahaha, it was so FUNNY!
        First he thought that I was watching a video that Tim and his dad took while they were in Canada, but they haven't gone yet, so it would be impossible ...

        At the end of the war, there were 17,247 remaining. 15,000 children lived in the ghetto. 242 children younger than 15 survived deportation from Terezín to the East, and 1566 children survived in the ghetto proper.
