... trap, no doubt, but I've wanted to visit it. I had no idea that Germany and Austria were so devout in the Catholic religion. We saw wood carved crucifixes along the roadside and here and there on mountain sides. Our guide told us it was not a marking for accidents or anything tragic, it was just a place for hunters or woodsman to go and pray when they were away from the village.

... just a market but also decorations. There us an alleyway that has all the story book characters up on the second story balconies and windows. Little Red Ridinghood, Pinocchio, mother Goose, etc. Parents bring their kids and it is fun to watch the kids identify the characters.

Innsbruck is a very old and beautiful city. It is small, 130,000 and sits between two mountain ranges in a narrow valley. We did see skiers but the lifts don't operate ...

      Tunnels, tunnels and more tunnels

... about 20 or so minutes just taking in this beauty I decided I was
going to stay here for the night and so went in search of a hotel.
This search for a hotel proved to be a hard job as there was simply nothing
open. Only after a few trips through the town did I find a small place that
rented out rooms which it was to be.
This little hotel was situated right under these massive Dolomites and the
      photo opportunities were just magical.

... to see more and more snow. Pretty soon everything was all covered in snow and it was absolutely stunning! I don't know if I was more excited to ski or to see all the mountains covered in snow! The ski resort that we were at was massive! I have only been to Sundown Mountain in Iowa, so this was kind of intimidating from the start, but we figured out which hill was going to be the easiest! We had a great day, trying out different hills, ...
