... minute stop here and we were off again, towards Innsbruck. This drive was through a lot of tunnels through mountains , one of them was 11kms long, during this time Bern took the time to explain all our optional extras. Our lunch stop was at an enormous service centre. There were loads of trucks parked there because in Europe, truckies are not allowed to be on the road between 10:00pm Saturday night and 10:00pm Sunday night. So they ...

... time when people were illiterate. Very colorful. On our way to Innsbruck we stopped and made our way up to Eagles Nest. Eventually, we found ourselves too cold to continue enjoying the view and began to descend. Rather than reversing the path we took up, ...

... It's quite an amazing place to visit. We were driven up by bus first then transferred to smaller transit coaches up the mountains where you walked through the original tunnel and then you took the original lift which is all brass up to the top where his house was. Even though they have converted the house into restaurants etc you can still visualise what it would of been like back in the 1940's. After visiting the nest we were off again ...

This morning we drove to Austria. We started the day with White water rafting in the Inn river in Innsbrook. The water was freezing but we had wet suits and it it was worth it. Amazing views. We had some of the local cuisine: goulash soup and schnitzel. They speak German. Off to ...
