... the tram I actually ran into a friend from back home at UF who was in Diplomats with me. He is here with some friends at the same time. Such a random connection to meet on a tram going down a mountain. His canyoning trip was cancelled today due to weather so I made sure to tell him all the exciting details and he was kinda upset at the end of it. After we were safely back on solid ground we walked around a bit more, headed to another outdoor store north of town then made ...

We woke up just before they stopped serving breakfast so we could go downstairs for breakfast. The hotel has a buffet with the usual breakfast offerings: bread, yogurt, cheese, meats, cereal, coffee, tea and juice, as well as scrambled eggs, bacon and the weirdest looking hard boiled eggs we've ever seen. As Hannah took a picture of these red, orange and yellow swirled eggs, a hotel worker said that they were the most popular thing in the breakfast lineup. She said ...

... was a lovely day. I got up at 6:30 as Fab had work and I walked the dogs in the freezing cold. Its weird with having so much snow that even at that time, before the sun has risen, its so light as the white reflects on everything. I then got home and had a cup of tea, said goodbye to Fabian, had a shower and took Polly off to school. It was so cold cycling but despite my best friend Jade's premonition, I don't think I will be able to ...
