    ... Loppia and villa Meizi with it's beautiful gardens on the banks of the lake. At 5pm the group was met by chef Luigi and taken to his restaurant Salice Blu for a cooking school. We all helped make fresh pasta which was used for 3 of our meal courses as well as the ingredients for Tiramisu. At the end he presented us all with certificates and a rating out of ten.     ... but when I say thru the mountains, it is partly right, there were a LOT of tunnels but most of the fun was the hairpins snaking up and down the mountains.

    One of the more famous roads is the Furka Pass, you may not know the name, but you would have seen it on Goldfinger and it is also in many TV commercials.

    ... got there about 7:30 and the waiter said they were busy and come back in 20 minutes. Funny thing was there were more empty tables than full ones. When we were being seated, Greg asked the guy if we could sit in atrium style area, the guy said they were fully booked. Nobody else turned up,and they were closing when we left.
