    ... chilly it was well worth it for the view. Venice can be walked from one end to another in over an hour, but there is no way to accomplish this because of all the pleasant distractions you find around each Calle or Campo. Of course we ended the day off with a pleasant dinner in a restaurant hidden away in a courtyard that even if we knew the address we would not find it again.     ... chilli sauce (I had told them that I didn't mind the different pasta). Within a couple of minutes, they passed me an additional serve of pasta through the window. It was quite embarrassing as it was not my intention to get another serve .... but they insisted. I knew Chris would be very pleased with the outcome so I left the window with 2 lots of pasta! Sure enough, the extra helping didn't last long!

    ... ready to sail. It took ages for the tugs to pull it backwards into the shipping channel and then turn it around. We sailed past St Marks Square and we were so high that we saw it all from a different perspective, as if we were in a low flying slow aircraft.
