        ... city with lots of history. Standing on their balcony, you can see into Belgium in on direction and to Germany in the other. Quite a unique little corner of the Netherlands. We were treated to wonderful home-cooked Dutch cuisine and had a fun time catching up after some ten years since they visited us in Canada.

        Another misty day, another excuse for a lie-in. Sandra wanted boiled eggs for breakfast but, alas, we have no "brood".         ... wander around the streets and canals, but before too long, our good and almost-constant companion, the rain, was back again. So we cut the night a bit short - but to be honest I can’t complain about that, it was such a big day so I was pretty much ready to sleep anyway… which I guess I proved by cutting short the write-up of the day - ah well hope I don’t lose too many marks for turning in my homework a day late :)

The schools mandates 6 years teaching of this subject. The creation of the Technasium was very left field. The foundation went to the government and got permission for this 'experiment'.
