What an interesting and surprising little place this is!.
We really had only thought of this place as a stop-over rest and recouperation before our main stop but are now finding daily what a lovely little place and community this is.
Everyone is so friendly with a mixture of nationalities. Some are here for the whole winter and we are beginning to wonder why anyone needs to travel further if the sun is here then stay and enjoy ...
... This means that much of the shoreline is undermined by the sea, which forces its way up through blowholes to form amazing waterspouts. There are a few sandy coves in the National Park and these are littered with masses of shells, much to Lesley’s pleasure. Our pitch here on the site is decorated with little installations of shells and interesting pebbles.
