        ... This would take some getting used to! The hostel was very nice and good value at 17 for a double en-suite. The atmosphere was chilled and everyone staying there was very friendly.

        With 3 nights in Puerto Escondido our time was mainly spent chilling out by the beach. The beach (Playa Carrizalillo) was only a 5 minute walk and it offered surfing for learners, so we took up the offer of hiring a board and having a go. ...

        ... initially said I needed air and started walking out when vision and hearing faded and the sweating began. I got to the front lobby and sat down when the thought of vomiting entered my mind, looking for a bin and not seeing one I realised I had to get to the car park. Afterwards we went and shared big bottles of beers on the streets with locals and had fun riding bikes, watching locals ride by on there horses and playing limbo.         ... as they called it breached right out of the water about 30 meters behind the boat. It was so hard to reel this big fish it, I had nothing but the rod and a chair so I propped the end of the rod into my lower abdomen and used all my strength to lift then reel, lift then reel.
