... And that month is almost over... Tomorrow is D-day! I will be travelling to Brussels tomorrow evening, after having had my last injection against rabies. Tuesday I will have to wake up pretty early, the Thalys for Paris, Charles de Gaule airport, leaves at 7.10 AM! ... were beautifully covered by Jack Frost's handiwork. The trees looked like they were wearing jewel encrusted robes with ice and frost hanging off them in the falling light. We don't experience much winter anymore, so we had to stop and take a few pictures of the fairy wonderland whizzing by. Ignoring the typical grey sky of a North German autumn we headed out to the spectacular town of Monschau which was established about 1000 years ago. On the way we passed through Holland and Belgium to reach this small German town, an experience that is incomprehensible to an Australian mindset.

To and Huget both had to go to work, so we had a slow start and then drove to Holland! Maastricht, home of André Rieu!
