... I have researched this and don't fancy taking long trips from the railway station with a lot of luggage, so you just walk across the road - No hassle! We settle in and take a short walk around the district to orientate ourselves before returning to the hotel district and the heaps of restaurants out the front of same. Trying to find the perfect one! Cath has a hankering for Schnitzel (local delicacy) so we settle in for a delicious meal. And just a small beer! ...

From London, we began our journey to Lucerne, Switzerland by plane to Zurich, Switzerland. In Zurich, we took a double-decker train to Lucerne, which was about an hour journey. The group was split up into two separate groups for this trip. Once arriving, we were all in awe of the grand Swiss Alps as a backdrop for Lucerne. ... more reasonable than Switzerland which we later found to be absolutely true! We bought a Stiefe bear in a heart shaped box. He was the cutest teddy bear I've ever seen! ... our group more than others. At Jungfrau, Alan and I walk around the different tour shows and walk through the Ice Palace. There were some amazing sculptures inside, but the highlight walking through were the slippery floors as Alan and I slide around the entire Place doing running 'skiddies' in our sneakers. We crossed the river and walked up the green hill to our hotel. We grabbed our things and said goodbye to our host and the dog.
