... safe, but otherwise it was blissfully quiet except for cow-bells and passing trains. A local woman was strolling along picking wild mushrooms to take home, quite idyllic. As we strolled back down from Kleine Scheidegg, train after train chugged past us up towards the Jungfraujoch - and we decided that at SFr 250 a trip, the Swiss Railways are a licence to print money!

As this will be our last entry from Switzerland, some general ...

Boarded the boat which was going to make 5 stops including Alpnachstad where we would board the cog rail train to ascend the mountain. Not many people on the boat...good. Good sight seeing and tremendous views of the many mountains surrounding Lucerne. Got lots of pics.

To wrap this up, I really enjoyed my Switzerland experience even though it's only 2 days. I would love to come back here someday but maybe seeing the other side of Swiss like Interlaken, Geneva and Basel. I don't mind the costs here. The people here are really friendly and nice. They have one of the best customer service. Even if you buy a magnet souvenir, they will wrap it up nicely for you. That's something you don't get in Asia.

... If TV and movies have taught me anything, this whole room will be singing arm and arm with beer mugs clinking to the beat by the end of the night. Our bottomless pit of fondue comes and I am once again delighting in the fact that Swiss cuisine was apparently custom made for my taste buds. As the pot begins to get low, I hear a couple more voices start singing (it's happening!) Eventually, as the chef is making the rounds asking everyone if they ...
