We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It was the most expensive meal to date but it was a splendid meal. The food was very very good and we knocked off 2 bottles of merlot. It was a great dining experience.

After lunch we went to an art exhibition of Bramatina religious paintings from 1450 etc. I didn’t think that he was ...

... over the lake. The path then gradually wound down, via shady terraces overshadowed by some of those huge trees; even so, the heat got to us so we cooled off with an ice cream, then went into Verbania to do some food shopping.

The traffic on the lake road was really busy so we went up into the hills to bypass it and returned to the site to find MORE people near us; we had ...
