... Riarena in Cugnasco, Switzerland. Lovely site, has free wi-fi everywhere and the toilets/showers are spotless. Only problem is that we are parked under a bloody Oak tree which is dropping acorns everywhere and they make a hell of a noise when they hit the van! Parked next to two other British couples. ... for Mum to fly with the cast but some airlines have a strict policy of not allowing people to fly with a cast. We don't know if Emirates is one of those airlines. If this is the case the cast will need to be cut so it is openable but it should stay on the arm. It would be sealed back up at the other end.
The x-ray pictures need to be kept by us and were not yet ready so I volunteered to come back later in the day.
... it. It took quite a while to calm her down. We walked around the Duomo, Lit a candle, and had tea outside with Mums new shawl to ward off the drafts. We had Pizza for tea which probably wasn't a great choice but the options are fairly limited

Andreas helped us with our luggage to the car, and we were on the way to Alessi about 11.30. Wow, Alessi was only 20 minutes up the road on our way to Como. So glad we didn't miss it.
