... was fifty minutes through rolling hills of farmland. At Schwerin, we started in a small square named for a young teacher who in 1945 shouted the news of Hitler's death, sadly costing her life as the SS arrested and executed her on the spot. The lamp post still stands to this day. Next, we walked from the train station past a central pond to the Henry the Lion Cathedral. We stopped ...

After a walk down to the beach's edge, we decided not to enter the obviously quite chilly water as evidenced by the scarce number of swimmers. ... We docked around 5am, we made it off the boat around 10:30, resort pace. We strolled out through the train station and on into the local village. The main area of the town runs either side of a canal with loads of cafes and shops to occupy us. We strolled the streets of Warnemunde out to the lighthouse and beach. I was on the hunt for Hefeweizen, and Fid for a pretzel. We're in the wrong part of Deutchland for this stuff, but we found them in kind. ...

... Band On the Run." Very energetic performance and you can see where many of the Broadway hopefuls end up. We enjoyed the production which was a tribute to the music and dance of the psychedelic 70’s. From the soaring melodies of Styx to the disco sounds of Donna Summer to the rock of Queen, you flashback to the days of platforms and mood rings.
Bed was next and we had some trouble falling asleep but with the door open to the balcony the ocean noises lulled us to ...
