Welcome back to the blog. As tomorrow is at sea there won't be another chance until Friday in Tallinn.

Our farewell dinner with Peter and Jan was shepherd's pie with the leftovers from the first night, perfect!. And they delivered us to the cruise terminal at the exact time on Sunday morning. Embarcation was routine, very professional.

Today was a sweater day but sunny. Our tour guide Daniel was from Ireland (Teaching English in Germany and tour guiding on the side), this tour was just us and it was fantastic. We first walked through the village of Warnemunde then hopped on a train to Rostock.
Rostock was a very old village with parts of the original wall and towers still in tact. There was a church (St. Mary's) here with an astronimical clock.

... t really do much today at all, apart from socialising with our fellow passengers, eating, drinking the (all inclusive!!) booze and relaxing but, as ever, the time passed quickly and soon it was time to get ready for dinner, as once again tonight was formal evening.

... Schwerin, the gardens surrounding it are sculpted and to add to the charm there is an orangerie and a hanging garden. At the back of the castle there is also a small Gothic Chapel. For centuries Schwerin castle was the home for Dukes and grand dukes of Mecklenburg.
After leaving the castle we drove on to Wismar which is one of the Hanseatic ports in the Baltic sea. The architecture here looks more of a dutch style to me. The buildings are very ...
