... It is in the Piazzale Michelangelo. All good information. If we miss out on the original we can still see the bronze. We walked back past the Accademia and the lines were still huge. We walked up to the entry to see there was a sign up saying that "due to a staff meeting", they will close at 5:15. There is no way all those people will get in. Lot of walking today, so early dinner and early to bed as we will be up early ...

When we got to the top, we had a reservation waiting for us at a restaurant overlooking the view, and enjoyed amongst other things, a large bowl of fresh mussels, a lobster salad and spaghetti with scorpion fish and squid, as dusk descended and ...

... to the villages of Cinque Terre. We hit up 3 villages along the way. The first stop was a tiny one where we stopped for a light lunch. Was hoping it was gonna be a pasta or something but turned out to be a little antipasta. Are about half of it haha. But I did have a glass of white wine! Good for me considering I don't like it, but I mean it was free alcohol so why not! We took a picture from above with the view and headed to the second village. We got ...

... the Ponte Vecchio (lots of jewellery) to Piazzle Michelangelo and up 163 steps (yes I counted them on the way back down) - had a wonderful view of Florence and a copy of David. Not DCD - the statue. Walked further up to San Miniato Church.

Walked back down and via Saint Croce Church

Went for a tour of the Uffizi Gallery and through the Piazza del Signora (seeing another copy of David and Neptune).
