... down! You'd have buns o'steel if you had to traverse that small town daily. We were met by a local guide who told us all about Saint Catherine and our first stop was to the chapel where her head is in the church dedicated to her. Italians were big on stealing dead bodies (or body parts) and bringing them to where they believe they rightfully belonged. From there we wandered the city from one end to the ...

Late in the afternoon we head up to the small ...

Breakfast is not included with our accomodation in Florence so our first task is to find somewhere to eat. We had noticed a cafe near our hotel yesterday that looked ok so we headed off there. Had a half decent coffee, toasted sandwich and muffin which all weren't too bad.

We had to book our tuscany tour so needed to find the tour company again. Yeah our map reading skills have certainly improved. Once booked we then decided to get ...

    Sunday 6/9

Today was a free day we took the bus up to the stop Fiesole, about a 15 mins away. It was on top of the hill looking into Florence, we could see the whole city it was really awesome. We took a picnic and ate in the park. It started raining though as soon as we started to really walk around-- there are ruins you ...
