... ll go in to work on a scene from Luigi Ricci's Il Birraio di Preston, I'll meet for a group coaching on the Act III Finale from L'Egisto by Francesco Cavalli, and I'll have a solo coaching with Maestro Valerie Trujillo on some of my repertoire. It's a full schedule, and I'm excited!

We wonder down (it’s about a 20 minute walk) and have a look round. The streets here are all picture perfect and the legacy of the Renaissance is all around. The Duomo (Cathedral) dominates the city with its enormous dome ...

... They somehow ended up getting us free bottle service that came along with awesome sparklers. I can't see how that's not a huge fire hazard, but it was awesome! We ended the night walking home along the arno, it was so quiet and beautiful because the bajillion tourists were at home sleeping. All in all, great GREAT night.

Day four was a free day, so we got to sleep in, thank goodness! We'd been going ...
