    ... dinner in the restaurant recommended by Gilberto. It is in the oldest building in the village- built in the late 14th - early 15th century! The frescos in the restaurant are in original condition and are beautiful. Dinner is delicious!     ... train trip was easy peasy so we I hope that the trend holds. So day 1 get to the Galleria de la Accademia to view Michelangelo's David and his unfinished works and only just over an hours wait! Lucky we went in the afternoon and its the end of peak season!     ... somewhere cool to escape to. The only issues have been the 84 steps ('Mum, I've forgotten my sunglasses' - 'tough, I'm not going back up to get them') and that you can't have more than 3 applicances on at once or the circuit fuse flicks off, so we rotate between air con1, air con 2, washing machine, dish washer or oven.
