    Today I did a walking tour and I learned much more about this beautiful place. We started at the Prague Castle, originally built in the 920's, it was expanded over the next seven centuries to the monstrosity it is today. Because of its size it is recommended that we take a whole day to see it, but today we just walked through the courtyards and took a quick peek inside the Cathedral St Vitus.     ... and sugar. Very nice. Around the corner was a market and we had a quick look. Plenty of the usual tourist souvenirs but lots of lovely fresh vegetables and fruit but we didn't buy anything due to lack of luggage space for coming home.     ... 25kr -- that's like 1euro, would have cost twice that in Australia! Alice Apartments was probably the prettiest pensione I've ever seen! It has a renaissance like painting on a wall, white floorboards, french style windows separating me from the other room-mate (who I never got to see), and turkish style sofa, uber-comfy with the hugest pillows ever!
