One cannot circle so close and not visit Switzerland. Switzerland has always been close to my heart, my good friend Gavin lives there and we have spent many days snowboarding, exploring and mountain biking through the vast mountain ranges and beautiful scenery.

It was another incredible evening drive to a place called Hilterfingen, south of Bern. The sun was heading down as I drove through ...

Waking expecting to hear the patter of rain on the tent, it was a nice surprise to hear the jingle jangle of distant cowbells instead. Despite their sleepy overtones I resisted the temptation to doze off again, and was rewarded with the views outside. The late ascent to the campsite had been worth it after all, with the valley and lake below sheathed in thick cloud whilst up high I was treated to a sunrise over the distant mountains.

... ones made by the cruise ship.
The deep water had a greenish tint and was crystal clear. The Bubenberg was an older ship but slid gently
and silently across the still waters.
The only sound was the deep rumble of the engine. At every stop people
on shore all waved enthusiastically and we all waved back. The lake was surrounded on every side by
mountains, and the snow covered Alps shined in their glory. We could plainly see the snow covered ...
