... arrived at our Evian hotel and it was lovely. After we settled in, one of us going on the optional extra were to meet at 4.45pm. On our morn walk we ventured into the back streets where the real people live and discovered more hidden beauty. We walked into the town square past Louis Pasteur's home and college. We decided to have a picnic breakfast in a cute little spot once just outside the town limits, which we all enjoyed greatly. My last ride in Annecy tomorrow morning is a challenge with four Cols in total before meeting up with Mich in Thones.

Slept like babes in the European double single bed arrangement. Daniel breakfasted us royally, a plum tart, toast and great coffee. We walked up the hill through farmland and forest that was idyllic.
