We went straight to the ski hill (Schlick 2000) to rent our equipment. Luckily the guy helping us spoke some English so it all went well! Once we got our tickets and equipment we headed up to the first gondola. And that’s where I started to panic a little. I hadn’t skied in over two years and this was not a little Glen Eden hill, this was the Austrian Alps!

We boarded for 4 days straight, we were sore but there was no way we were missing a day to rest. We are all determined to return to Austria again and are already planning our next trip.
What could have been potentially a very depressing, boring holiday turned into something spontaneous and awesome!!

We caught the local bus to nearby Seefeld on a few occasions and I took a few ski lessons there which were great fun. If the snow had been better we would have skied from Leutasch to Seefeld but the trails were closed unfortunately. ... family. Ro and I treated ourselves to some gluhwein. I enjoyed it, Ro just managed to drink his. We also enjoyed a local treat of fried dough with cranberries. It was delicious!
Shopping mostly done so we finished off the last few things and then made our way back to the car. It was a relief that we’d finished and that I’d managed the whole experience. We drove back home via Rinn to find out some more information. We all walked up the ski field to watch ...
