... store and use our newly acquired German to ask for a sink plunger. The man has no idea what we are talking about but takes us to the sink section. We find a plunger. Slightly large for our minuscule sink, but it will do. The man returns to ask us in embarrassingly perfect English if we found what we need because he is shutting soon (it is 11am on a Tuesday!!). We get some hose to enable us to fill up with water and leave the man to shut up his shop. Next stop is ...

Plane 2- gravity pulled our plane down a bit, and several people let out a panicked yelp as we were jolted about an inch or so up out of our seat. I love seat belts!!! Then kid #1 (oldest) puked ...

... visiting Coox and Candy, an all vegan restaurant which turned out to only be a short S bahn ride away. It is tucked in a cute little side street with really traditional looking buildings all around. The restaurant itself is impressive, 2 stories with cute little tables on the sidewalk which is a great summer option which locals seem to enjoy a lot. The tables had little blackboards with names and times, which were reservations and it seemed almost all the tables were reserved! ...

... me and ended up completing the entire loop finally coming back to get off where we should have. We then got a train to Stuttgart’s main train station and met Elke without any dramas. From here it was dinnertime and Elke took us to a traditional Swabian restaurant. We had a fantastic dinner and some great German beer to finish our time in Europe. What a great time we had in Europe and we will definitely be looking forward to coming back in winter…but for now its Tokyo time!!!!
