It was quite an unsuccessful day but still managed to visit each of the towns at some stage and at least we went on one ...

... the quay des estats uni which features the main beach that eventually becomes les promenade Anglais. The view from here is stunning, a towering cliff with a waterfall to our left, the beach out front and the hustle and bustle of nice to our right. We stop to admire the view and take photos. What an amazing day! For dinner, we decide to go to another tripadvisor recommended restaurant, Le statu.co off the beaten track. ...

... After that was pretty hungry for reals so I had sushi for the first time since NZ and listened to Carol's friends' band play. We also went to a nightclub playing old school English and French songs, itīs funny, as an outsider I can be objective about how īgayī the old French songs are (non-English peeps probably would say the same about the anthems that we hold close to our hearts and can sing all the words too. I drank some beer too, one ...
