We are on the bus to Barcelona. An 11 hour trip including stops so a good chance to catch up on the travel blogs for the last three days. It's hard work when your flat out all day & all night to keep up with the blog. I've considering giving it up but we only have one more stop in Europe after Barcelona before flying to London. We then caught the next train, which took us through the old ...

... was a great experience. Fortunately leaving early , to beat the heat of the day. Arriving at the station above the city, there are a series of lifts and escalators to help locals and visitors to cope with the steepness of the site. One Irish chap we spoke to, says he is living in Monaco for 6 months, and although not at the highest point of private accommodation, still has 160 steps to negotiate up and down each time he wants to leave his apartment on the hill. ...

... her daughter spent almost an hour bringing out outfit after outfit for me to try on. Hate to say it, but the clothing was not French but Italian made BUT.. who cares when the prices are so good & the clothes so gorgeous!! A taxi ride ride from Vence took us to St Paul de Vence: a short 10 min drive further up the mountain via a very windy road. The female driver ( a lot of taxi drivers are female here) had ...
