... People everywhere with their arms stretched out doing the usual photos. Andrew went mad with the camera again and then went mad at me cos I couldn't get the right angle of him holding up the tower with his nose!!! I wonder if anyone notices the architecture and amazing ability of the tower to stay upright......well done engineers. Back on the bus and next stop......arghhhhh ......Autogrill. This place is to be avoided at all costs. The Italians ...

... incredible, I know I keep saying this but wow - we have nothing to compare in Australia. The architecture and detail is amazing and just everywhere. The casino is magnificent. Parked out front is every boys dreams, Ferrari's, merc's and every conceivable kind of fancy expensive car that I don't even know the name of. Rich mans paradise, or woman if you're so inclined. The concierge dressed in their top hats to park the cars, with a constant smile on their face. When your eyes ...

Due to a landslide 2 years ago, some of the hikes between each town were closed. We were told that we could walk between three towns, ...

... was superb. The owner came and spoke to us in English, read out the whole specials list and explained I detail to us in English what they were. The food was mostly traditional to Nice and amazing. Fritters, asparagus salad, Foie Gras, Pizzadiere, beef fillet and our order went on...our toddler fell asleep mid way though dinner, the staff were kind enough to call a taxi for us, it was there within minutes. A great night ...

... After that was pretty hungry for reals so I had sushi for the first time since NZ and listened to Carol's friends' band play. We also went to a nightclub playing old school English and French songs, itīs funny, as an outsider I can be objective about how īgayī the old French songs are (non-English peeps probably would say the same about the anthems that we hold close to our hearts and can sing all the words too. I drank some beer too, one ...
