Monday was Justin's last day in Interlaken. We again tried to wake up early but still woke up late. I was the first one ready so I went to see Justin. Justin and his family were playing UNO. I played with them and won three times in a row. Sadly on the fourth time Andy just won. Then after that we went for a walk to Interlaken East. We saw all these para gliders. ... four little girls all lined up clutching their dollies and teddies. One was very busy giving advice to the others which wasn't always well received or invited ( a little Gai in the making). Their instructor used a very wide broom which she put infront of their skiis and they just leant into it and she guided them down the slope. Their Mums were gathered at the top of the slope chatting away and watching the kids - a bit like Aussie mums at swimming lessons I thought.
... with a lakefront view you could have. Afterwards, we bought some local cherries from a farm stand. So juicy! On the road to Interlaken, it was mostly highway but such a beautiful drive! Traditional Swiss chalets, Alps out the front window, dozens of waterfalls, cows and goats with bells on their necks, turquoise lakes, winding roads, and small towns. I think I took 100 pictures today. We only got lost by a few kilometers ...
