I started off with a TGV from Lille and got off at Etaples train station, where I had Roland and Véro awaiting me. After our chit-chats and many jokes our first stop was the Rue ...

A picnic on the cliff tops had been our intention, but as we were unloading the car, rain joined the wind, so aborted that idea and ate in the car instead.

We walked back down to the village only to find that we were a bit too early and places weren't open yet so we wandered around some more until the restaurant was open. The food was not bad although not amazing, Ruby and Olivia both had Moules et Frites and seemed to enjoy it. We are now all back in Sven winding down for the day and tomorrow ...

Do we have time for a lap of honour?

... got to the campsite Ruby wondered if we would be in pitch 17 just like we had been last time, it's amazing the things they remember sometimes. Unfortunately the answer was no and we have to make do with 14 but it is nice to see a familiar place and it brings back all sorts of different memories and some seem so recent but others seem so long ago. Jess then suggested we go for a walk down to the village which we all agreed to even though it wasn't the ...
