college. Through her emails, she has sounded quite motherly, as she
has offered me her home before I had even arrived in France, if I
needed anything I could just call her, if I didn’t like my
apartment, I could stay with her until I found something.

You see? I am very well blessed and

... with the most magnificent view. I had a couple of glasses of Rose and the Salade de Alpes which consisted of the local cheese, walnuts and mixed lettuce leaves. Not really my thing, but was glad I got to taste the local cheese. We didn't realise but you could actually drive up there. There's a hotel up top and lots of walking:hiking tracks too! I would definitely have done at least one if I'd known. Amy and Jono would like to come back another time ...

... bags) were full, we headed back to the apartment to get ready to go to Jono's rugby game tonight. Jono now plays for FC Grenoble and tonight he would be starting for his team. We certainly chose a great time to come. Tonight we would also be meeting all the wives and girlfriends of the international players for a wine before the game. ... slept last night, I went straight to bed! Being here makes me want to learn another language. It's so cool to be amongst all the culture and new ways of doing things here. The French are extremely laid back yet very helpful too. It was nice to meet some of the people that will be a part of Amy and Jono's lives over here, at least I'll be able to put a few faces to names when she talks about them and what they've been up ...
