Liebe Menschen,
Bis dahin: Keep on rockin´

After a few days in Ljubljana, we took a bus to the beautiful, rustic town of Bled. Apart from being dropped off at the wrong bus station, walking for more than an hour with all of our gear in the pouring rain looking for our hostel, and not having anyone at the hostel for the first 6 hours we were there, Bled was incredible. Our second day in Bled, the sun appeared and ...

... over to this union bar that had the internet and this nerd was hogging the internet I tried to have a beer but felt really sick so we had to go trecking around the bars in the ghost town to see if we could find anywhere that had the internet luckily we found somewhere and we are now going to Austria tomorrow to stay in Salzburg. Nothing open around the town its so dead when you go somewhere out of season that we went for a chinese again ha ha ah.
... and bathroom and cooking stuff so we popped out to get some food for breakfast and stuff and then went for a chinese. I must admit after weeks and weeks of eating med food it was nice to have something a little different chicken fried rice has never tasted so good lol. After the meal we popped for a walk to the lake but it was really dark and we couldnt see much so we are waiting till tomorrow to have a good look around.
Bled, Slovenia traceybelle... back.
We walked out bikes back up the hill and then jumped on once we knew we would be safe! We were fortunate to stumble across the actual bike track on the way back so that cut our travel time substantially.
Back at our hotel we returned the death trap and the other bike, making sure we let the owner know about the standard of the equipment he was handing out! He was most apologetic but then I immediately hated him because he supported Witek’s move towards ...
My third day I caught a bus to the neighbouring valley of Bohinj, with Bohinj lake in the centre, this lake is absolutley stunning, it's less touristy than Bled, it's larger (it's immense!) and it's set in such a beautiful setting (amongest the Julian Alps!). To walk around the lake, (10km) it took about 4-5hours in some parts following the road, in other parts on a beaten ...
Bohinjsko Jezero, Slovenia travellingjenWe headed straight to the National Park. The Julian Alps(named after Julius Ceaser)climbed high into the sky next to the Italian border. Our kitchen window(we splurged and rented a apartment for two nights) gazed out onto their snow capped peaks. We stayed in a valley next to a lake surrounded by mountains, with small villages dotting the green valley floor. The first afternoon we rented bikes, which was lots of fun, but ...
Bohinj Valley, Slovenia correllLjubljana - pronounced loob - lee - yana After almost 14 hours of train travel we knew that the cab drivers of Ljubljana would be lying in wait. It was 10 p.m. and we were tired. I showed the friendly English-understanding cab driver our hotel on the map. "No problem." He said. "I know this hotel very well." All the way to the hotel, I kept one eye on the meter and the other on the street signs to make sure he wasn't taking us on a joy ride. When we ...
Ljubljana, Slovenia jackdrury... Consulate, so I could apply for a 'Right of Abode' Visa for the UK. This would allow me to live and work in the UK anytime, anywhere. If you have a parent born in the UK, it's yours for the asking. No problem, right? Well, the politics and the red-tape actually weren't that bad but it took the help of my parents who had to 'rush-deliver' appropriate birth and marriage certificates. Katrinka and I made what felt like 50 trips on the ...
