... we got off and had to climb some stairs. Air gets thinner the higher up you get, who knew? I was definitely feeling the altitude, and was a little short of breath, and my heart was pounding faster then ever. I underestimated how high we really were. Three small steps and I had to stop, that was uncomfortable. Day 7 was one of the most memorable days of the trip. We drove to the city of Chamonix and took a couple of Gondolas up to the top of Mont Blanc for some incredible views.
