... Excepting the international flights on British Airways, I have booked every transport on this first sabbatical travel portion myself. Steve and I even managed to navigate the unforeseen circumstance of Greek island ferry closure to re-route ourselves to Athens in less than two hours, and it actually worked! I have gained so much confidence through this process, which was about to be tested by the Greek public transport system.

... am looking at postcards and the more I like the result the more I want to take.

Throughout the trip we come across pine, carob, cypress, and many olive trees found on rocky slopes, we see caves of different size on a higher level, more olive groves closer to the village as we approach. It seems that the villagers have their own produce of virgin olive oil.
