Went by train about an hour outside Athens to the ancient city of Corinth. The train wound by the amazing blue waters off the Mediterranean coast on a sunny day. We started at the Acrocorinth - an ancient stronghold on top of a huge mountain hill with 1500 ft cliffs. Throughout the trip we come across pine, carob, cypress, and many olive trees found on rocky slopes, we see caves of different size on a higher level, more olive groves closer to the village as we approach. It seems that the villagers have their own produce of virgin olive oil.
