today started bright and early at 7:30am. We hopped on a bus and rode to Mycenae! Today we set off at 8am for the ancient city of Epidauros and to see the most intact ancient amphitheatre. Our guide Emilio explained the history behind the Asklepios healing sanctuary compound where it is located. The theatre is still in use in the summer months with up to 8 performances held each year.
