... There were a lot of stops along the way with scenic overlooks, hiking spots and restaurants. We had a German lunch of bread and sausage at the cafe next to Lake Mummelsee, and did a short 2 km hike on a trail leading to a waterfall. We got some really beautiful pictures, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing some ...

In this region, the vineyards are all grown on hillsides, which seems kind of challenging. Enjoy the ...

Man, we were so tired today that we could barely drag ourselves out of bed. In fact I don't think we got up until about 11.00am. Lyndon and I did manage to leave the house to buy food but that was all. Being such a lazy day we even had time to go through all 300 TV stations to double check for English shows and what ...

... Bratwurst, sliced Bratwurst and curried Bratwurst. So I had ... ... chips. And Darren had ... ... Bratwurst. Nearby was a luge park (not the ice sort) so we had a couple of turns hurtling down the twists and turns. Lots of fun! Our next destination was Triberg, also known as the cuckoo clock town, and according to some, the birthplace of the Black Forest Cake. Here we hiked through the beautiful Black Forest to ...
