Check in was a breeze at LAS with PreCheck. Bought a sandwich for lunch on the plane and some mini Cinnabons for breakfast. Our 9 AM flight for Philadelphia took off on time. We took advantage of priority boarding which was nice since we carried on our luggage. Arrived in Philly at 5 PM (a little late). Boarded our Munich flight at 6 PM and took …

... temptation was to stay in the shower...no water restrictions here! By the time we had our breakfast and got back to our room to map out the day, the rain was gone and I was ready to start our walk. I won't say I was 100%, but neither was the weather with cloudy skies.

We walked around the market which was packed with people. As promised, all the people doing their shopping before the stores were closed tomorrow and the fans for the soccer ...

... by Allied bombing and some Nazi edifices were blown up after the war. A new museum is under construction which will try to explain the history of the Nazi movement as a permanent reminder of such madness. Hop on U Bahn back to Marienplatz. Bit more of a potter and quick lunch. Back to campsite to see lots of festival rafts coming down the River Isar by our campsite. Covered in hundreds ...
