Distance: 0km Weather: cloudy but warm Today our task was simple, to get to the start of the Rhein, which our guidebook says is the lake Lai da Tuma. This meant we had to get back to Oberalppass but instead of cycling back up the 700m hill, we took the cog train. This took us up the hill in a comfortable train carriage being pulled by an engine with a big geared wheel that it uses to climb and descend the steep hills. Our legs didn't hurt at all! You ...

After posing with their creation, Kevin came up behind them and added a small piece of twig below the snowman's buttons and said, "Now it's anatomically correct!" Chris thought it was hilarious. The twig then fell to the ground, and both of them looked incredibly disappointed, then I laughed too! It's funny how snow turns everyone into kids again!

... a lovely place to stop for a drink and a chat.

On from there to Strassbourg. Always thought Strassbourg was in Germany - now we know that it’s in France.

We spent 1 hours wandering around - Donna was ripped out of the line for the ladies loos by the attendant and ordered to use the mens! At least she dodged the line up but she wasn’t sure what she was in for! By the way - she was only picked as she ...
