I tired to couch-surf here because there is no cheap accommodation in this town at all! The cheapest thing I found was 25 bones for ...
Probably the worst city in the world
... if we could not see anything). Yeah... sure... we'll pay once the works are over. We browsed through our guide to find something else worth seeing but resigned after a while. The city itself was a communist nightmare - so tons and tons of concrete - apartment blocks of twenty or so floors, colorless and scary. First day in Romania
... there were fresh fruits and vegies and the smell of freshly picked watermelons and other produce were unmistakable(love it). Then we settled at Buna's place to taste some of the pastries she's made + had lunch(egg plant salad and stuffed capsicums) + talked loads about travelling. Towards late in the afternoon, Dudu + Tibi joined me at Buna's and we had a quick catch up sesh over more sweets and drinks.

We arrived at around 10 and went straight to a nearby pub and had dinner and drinks. I maybe drank too much especially as we sat in their kitchen and drank and talked and drank some more until 4ish in the morning.

... me. I spent a night in Iasi and going to Moldova hopefully today.
ROmania is an amazing country with so many castles, palaces, citadels, museums to offer, fantastic mountains and landscapes, and great people. Ton of monasteries and beautiful churches!
It's getting too much for me to intake all this so I want a break :) Get back to simple life - just walking and camping :)
Besides,I really miss my home, Belarus, and hope to be there ASAP.
