... about ambition or dreams or frustrated dreams....slowly slowly. ....not clawing or holding on too tight. It really takes the pressure off, all things will happen, in their own sweet time! And our days here are long...we've worked mornings, and eaten late, cooking on and huddled close to the fire, off to bed at midnight. No TV, not much radio and next to no internet! We've just celebrated Easter, with a fast amount of food! Three things seem important here. Gigantic platters of lamb, thick walled pastries and family. In horror I imagined this frantic figure scurrying the hillside for a decade with his flimsy map and as he bolted ahead of us I feared he might slip in his haste and we'd hear a shriek and look down on his tiny form far below. Before we reached the cave slope we met him again, still frantic but now jubilant "take a photo, take a photo" he shrieked. Then he photographed ...

... the coast and her anchor adrift. The bays of mallorca get busy in the summer and it's very common for tourist speed boats to be carelessly moored, causing anchor chains to tangle and entwine. After a quick foray to Soller on Saturday to investigate the ceramics 'este nov' on a fact finding mission, as much as to relieve boredom, I headed via bus to Valldemossa today. It's gorgeous, quite simply a beautiful maze of interlinking cobbled lanes with tradition golden ...
