42kms.... AM - Last night we pulled out the slightly old, well used GPS unit that Tomas gave us in Vienna & decided to give it a try today. He said each days route had been entered into each of two GPS units he gave us. Well fired up one unit this morning, it worked, found today's route, it worked, put it on the bike & set off, it worked!!! Just had to follow the arrow on the compass background and voila, no problems in any little village or crossroad, ...

Its 3.41am. Our train is delayed at a place called Bohumin, somewhere near the border of Poland. The estimated delay has been increased from 14 minutes to 60 minutes. Sleep isn't really a realistic option, though there are people giving it a go, around me, sitting, slouched, lying on the floor, by my feet, in doorways and the corridor. Its hot.
