Went to airport but to visit travelex. Heading towards Auschwitz and trying to keep of the highways, had lots of breaks and from the road. Went looking for a camp site but it was closed so found a very nice and friend hotel half way up the mountains. ... around many bends in tiny streets to our Hotel Roubenka. It's a quaint little hotel in a quiet suburban street and there was a wedding party going on inside. There is no air conditioning in most of these places, only big heaters so it was stifling hot inside the hotel. Luckily we had a room in a chalet out the back where we could open all our windows. I admired beautiful gardens people keep in Glubczyce. They compete against each other and try to grow most impressive vegetables and most beautiful flowers.

Some of them even built special altanas which, although they live like houses, serve only as supply storage.

The heat let up by 9 pm and we had a very pleasant walk home throughout the town.
