... with their bells clanging as they grazed, there were apfel (apple) and pears trees and vineyards covered with plump and juicy deep plum coloured berries. Driving through the very narrow streets of Maienfeld town, high up in the coach, allowed us to see over high walls and be amazed at the dreamy and spectacular views. With the sun setting on the grape vines, this tiny magical town beckoned us to return. Running late, as we have done all day due to the same passengers ...

Eldon had planned where we were staying this evening. It was only a one hour drive. It was, again a very nice hotel. We went down for dinner around 7:00. This scenery caper is now just getting ridiculous! What we saw was breathtaking, awesome and any other adjective your thesaurus can give you.
We started out in Val Poschiavo (the valley) which is almost 1000 metres above sea ...

... You could tell they weren't deer because they were too dark in color and had curly horns. We walked over 6 miles today, and it felt good. We both had a great workout.

We are now in Italy in a huge ski resort area. Once again, it's off-season so there are very few people in our hotel.

The dinner menu looks interesting and we aren't leaving the hotel. It rained on us really *******ce we got to ...
