... Nou kom maar op wat gaan we doen; kijken naar het uitzicht... Arrggh dat had ik vanaf de bus ook kunnen doen, heks!
Dus wij een halfuur gehypnotiseerd naar het uitzicht gekeken en toen weer halfdood strompelend terug naar de bus. En nu komt de clue;
Doordat ik naar dat uitkijkpunt ben gelopen en weer terug wat alles bij mekaar een halfuur geduurd heeft, dus een half uur verspilt, heb ik net mijn bus naar huis gemist.

Guardians on holiday
... Dus rond een uur of 11 gingen we door de stromende regen naar het gemeentehuis waar we Pablo zouden ontmoeten. Daarna zijn we naar Tribeca geweest. een grote club in Oviedo. We bleven hier heel lang en dan zie je hoe het volk daar veranderd over de tijd in het begin vooral jongere mensen en redelijk rustig, toen werd het drukker en aan het eind waren er allemaal oudere rond de 18 en weer wat rustiger. Na een tijdje voelde ik me echt niet goed en ik wou graag naar buiten ...
Just another week..
... en stevig spaans geoefend. Die avond gingen Roos en ik weer gezellig met iedereen uit en in plaats van dat ik binnen heb staan dansen heb ik filosofische gesprekken lopen voeren met Pablo :)
Naderhand misschien iets te lang want ik miste echt op de laatste minuut de allerlaatste bus van de dag dus toen was het panieken wat ik ging doen. IN MN EENTJE, want Roos en Pablo waren te melig om serieus te doen. Kan je even nagaan hoe dat eruit heeft ...
Gijon
Left 'Cangas de onis' and headed for the coast. Although it was nice being back by the sea, I miss the Picos mountains.Gijon itself is a nice city with a good surf beach. Many sufers can be seen late into the afternoon surfing some enourmous waves.Explored the town and the headland which has an old fort, above which is now a huge concrete sculpture looking out to see.In the town centre, there are a few narrow streets to explore as well as some old roman baths burried beneath the square. ...
Picos De Europa
... was melting quickly in the heat.Further down the valley, the small village of 'Covadonga' was a real gem. Here, there is a small church built into the cliff 100ft up, underneath which flows a waterfall that flows through the village below. Several passage ways run from the church and through the mountain to another church perched up on the hill.Stayed in the town of 'Cangas de Onis' which had a unique Roman bridge.
