... a nice meal and bottle of vino tinto (Peter turned his nose up at his half a glass due to it tasting like "vinegar") it was back to the campsite just outside town where the sound of the eternal pumping of an airbed was cutting through the darkness. This guy had been at it since we left the site 4 hours before - that's dedication for you! Fair play. During the night, however, karma stuck as my laughing at the other guy's mattress problems came back to bite me ...

The funny thing was every time we get close to a cape, strong gust come with big swell and breaking waves which made us a little uncomfortable; then as soon as we pass the wind drops and sea calms a little as if it was trying to tell us something?!? ... bus ride was about 45 minutes, and we saw lots of people riding pushbikes up the hill. Every year there is a cycling race up that hill, like a mini Tour de France. After we’d had lunch we walked around for a while, and then caught the bus back to our station, ...

... and then we returned to Ovida. When we got back I packed up the rest of my clothes and watched part of the season finale of the Bachlorette which was awful but also hilarious. I finished up packing and since it was my last night and Lexi's birthday, we decided to have a picnic in the park. Kaleigh, Sophie, Leah and I went to el arbol and bought the usual then caught the bus to San Francisco park. Carrying my bags everywhere was a ***** and I felt like an idiot ...

      ... where we are
headed (which would mean a long passage)

The coastline is amazing when you can
see it. It has changed quite significantly since leaving the Picos
behind – rolling green valleys, sheer cliff faces of limestone and
wonderful wooded mountains in the background.

We got to the harbour, which is full of
small craft and fishing boats and the moorings are onto buoys where
you tie on fore and aft. ...
