... by the city or from other cities all over the world like fashion week! If you read my entry on heritage weekend you know that even without a fool proof plan you can stumble upon lots of fun activities even if waiting in line for hours. This past weekend we unfortunately had a lot of homework to do since our first project was due on Monday followed by a French quiz on Thursday. We didn't let it interrupt our weekend too bad though.
Friday we slept in ...
... The tour guide however was impressive. What she lacked in having anything interesting to say, she made up for by saying it in 6 different languages English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese. fluently.
More time I spend here, more I like Paris. I'm thinking I might've booked my train to Amsterdam too soon. I could see myself living here for a year or so. Will have to come back.
Ate 3 Crepes today.
... sublime to the rediculous we came above ground to wander through the Latin Quarter and have (a great) lunch. The next stop was the Pantheon (only because we missed the Musee de Cluny by mistake). The Pantheon was pretty amazing. Really a fancy crypt it started out as a church and then became the final resting place of heroes of the revolution as well as notables from more modern times. Joan of Arc ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France marybcI'd like to start this entry by defending my attempt at French in my last entry. The title was J'aime Paris, or I Love Paris. I've heard it a couple of times since saving the blog that I actually meant to say je t'aime Paris (I love you Paris).. However, as I'm not announcing my love for a certain member of the Hilton family, this is incorrect and my status as legend lives on. Okay, with my honour defended, I'll update you all on my progress. I have had a ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France jimbojohnson... by the time I got there. Although I had Montmartre on the itinerary for that night, I made a GTD (game-time decision) to visit the Arc de Triomphe, as I'd not been since our first trip to Paris. Admission was free that night and just like our recent ascent to the gargoyles at Notre Dame, the climb to the top of the Arc did not seem as ...
Paris, France blanchedubois... real Eiffel tower, not the replica in Vegas we got lost a few times. We stroll around and found the Louis Vuitton store, it was a big building. Felix bought me the LV bag for my advance birthhday gift, it's expensive but I just closed my eyes and did not look the price. Anyway, I think i deserve it. We are looking forward for more trips in Europe next time.

Paris, France nnicholl... in at the same time were students from Spain (if they can stay so can I right?), I decided to stay. Truth be told I really didn't feel like lugging my luggage another place and the other "safer" place wouldn't have availability for me for 6 days. So yeah I was planning to move soon. I'm not sure if it was the influence of the warnings I'd received but in going to the grocery store and walking around the neighborhood, I felt a bit frightened/on guard. There were men talking loud ...
Paris, France rikkitDay 1 - London > Paris There are 34 people on the tour but only 33 left from London (we lost 1 already!). It's a mix of Aussies, Kiwis, Americans, Canadians, Koreans and 1 Mexican. 19 of us are doing the whole 49 days, the others are departing in either Rome, Athens or Istanbul and we are collecting a few newbies along the way. The Mega Europe Tour is actually made up of a collection of smaller tours (I didn't actually know that). There seems to be so many of us that I ...
