... Dame. So stunning on the outside but very dark on the inside-still beautiful. Back home to pack and realse that in the last 24 hours I have misplaced our airline tickets to Hong Kong and home. Mild panic but our beautiful travel agent emails copies to us. Disaster averted-I would have had to stay in Paris.

Then back on the metro and to the Arch De Triumph, that roundabout is crazy there 12 lanes of madness and accidents all the time. Then a chocolate Crepe and inline for the Eiffel Tower which took a while, but limbed to he second section but the line for the lift to the very top was too long for our time limit. ... and the Seine. Everyone was quite excited. We pointed out everything that we could see from there. The dinner took 3 and 1/2 hours but it was very good. David enjoyed frogs legs and the rest of us blue lobster. That was folioed by Tournedos of beef with foie gras and the most delicious little puffs of potato. Desserts were equally interesting, followed by homemade marshmallows, macaroons etc. It was a lovely evening and everyone fell into bed.
... well. Did I say that I have sat in that Place des Vosges and looked up and thought about how I could live there. Did I mention that the woman who lives there has taken the name Viktor Lazlow (yes, from Casablanca) and is from Martinique. Her husband has something to do with art and antiques and they have another place in the country (of course).
