Surfs Up

After Madrid I headed to South France to do some surfing and relaxing. I stayed with a friend of a friend, Georg, and hanging out with him was great. Georg and I have a similar sense of humor (haha rare find for me) and I was pretty lucky because Georg is a surf instructor and lives a five minute walk from the beach.

I wish I could write a bunch for this entry but all what I really did for the week was surf and cook food every day. It was pretty great and I owe Georg big time.

We has imagined a cute little harbour town - how wrong we were. - It was a little disappointing though to note all of their churches ...

A break from driving

A warm and sunny day, great.

Walk into town, spend most of the day productively, sitting in a pavement bar in the main square, watching the world go by and drinking chilled Rose Wine. The rest of the day we wasted buying vegetables and fruit to eat in the evening.

We discover there is another part to the site, and find another English couple there, they are heading South ...

... had found the restaurant area of town! We then proceeded to read the menus for all the open restaurants (about six) that were in the area and finally settled on one that seemed to have a good selection. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time we were there! Anoop and Minh-Yen had the fish soup to start while I had the regional cured ham. For the main, Minh-Yen had a "dorade" (fish of some sort) with peppers on it and Anoop & ...
