    Wow - number 1 village by far.  As you will see in some of the photo's the properties and views are stunning.  We wandered in and around many of the cobble stone type streets, through small tunnels and passageways.   There is a reason they have all non residents park in one spot at the bottom as the narrow 'roads' would be a nightmare for a non-resident to manage.     ... mountain with a steep final ascent. With bread stick, cheese, meat, fruit and croissants in the backpack we spent a good part of the day hiking up and back the beautiful French countryside.     Distance today 273KM

    I left Négrèville, had luck at Granville and followed to route of the bay to Mont St Michele. The journey was a pleasure compared to yesterday, although as I approached the Mont it was such a beautiful sight I kept looking at it for too long whilst riding along a very windey road.
