In Duclair today, I toured the Saint-Wandrille abbey. No one was allowed to go inside, for fear of disturbing the nuns. Abbeys always worried me. So quiet. After we(it's not a private cruise)toured some abbey ruins, without the nuns, so I could breathe without freaking ...

We got to the Tunnel nice and early as usual, and as usual they put us on the 10.50am instead of the 12.20 - part of our cunning plan.
The weather in Calais was much the ...

... place, even Carson and I were happy to have made the trip to check it out.

Next on the list was a quick swing through the famous town of Le Mans, France to see the home of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans auto race. This was mostly a stop for Carson and I (a bit of payback for the Chateau) but in the end the girls really enjoyed the quick spin through the museum as well. It was really interesting to see all of the history behind the race held at Le Mans, it ...
