Bruges is a lovely little town with lots of nice little streets and places. We see lots of chocolate shops and old houses and tiny little places to rest with a good book in summer time.

All packed and set we drive off to Belgium: a three hour drive with some traffic jams and haunted by stormy clouds later we arrive in the sea town. The girls drop me off at the apartment I'm staying. It's an old, typical Belgium sea side holiday residence with four floors, all connected ...

... inbreeding problems in these parts are well justified. We cycle along a 3km road full of juggernauts en route to the port. Within 5 minutes of pedalling my chain coms off ....B!*GGER! Plasma at hand we turn off and join a beautiful canal which took us the 11k back to base. Already there are "twinges" from the saddle department.
