        ... Kong in the evening!

        It was a lot of fun - around 20 euros gives you access to the intermediate level of tree obstacles, each 45min duration and more than 8 sections!

        A lot of creativity and safety has gone into creating and running this place - so i recommend to adults and kids alike! They have different levels so check out their website:

        ... the through flights yep, you guessed "you will have to take it up with your travel agent" you know I have watched some of those flying shows where frustrated customers blow their stack and the poor customer service people just seem to take it . well all I can say is **** this is a business of passing the buck it's not their problem so go pester someone else So I have a pair of bike boots and a wet weather suit strapped to my little I back back wandering ...

        ... partials. I saw the first of several statues of Joan of Arc. Had I have done my research before leaving, I would have realized that Compiegne was the city that Joan of Arc was captured and sold to the English at. There was also a monument to citizens killed during the various wars. Compiegne was also the place where the armistice was signed by Germany in 1918 and where Hitler made the French sign their surrender. I thought that some of the old walks ...

        ... 4 per night family run B&B that we were quite looking forward to relaxing in for the first night of our adventure in the Cuban capital.

        Fortunately we had a lot to catch up on, and so made the most of our day in France. We found a Carrefour and a park, and had a lovely picnic of baguette, cheese, crisps and carrots. Let's see if we actually make it to Cuba ...

        ... so sad to see those 66000 names on it and the crosses all with the word "inconnu" (unknown" on them. There are very powerful vibrations in these places...the earth remembers that it was nourished by blood and holds the memory for those who are open to feel it. Our hotel in Arras overlooked a lovely golf course. Time to unwind and have a chance to get to know our travelling companions over dinner. Tomorrow will be a big day as we are going to Vimy ...
