We board our cruise ship, the Eurodam today. We're excited about not having to unpack for 10 days! The downside is not having internet access for that time. The highlight of the cruise will be visiting my Mecca, Prince Edward Island and going to the Anne of Green Gables home on Saturday 27th September. If I don't have the opportunity to blog during that time, I'll catch up with all the news of the cruise in New ...

... stone buildings and then walls came into view. This was more like it! Seeing so many cites when travelling you can face the prospect that they all begin to look much the same. As far as the lower and upper parts of old town Quebec, there was no danger of this happening! Arriving at the door of St. Louis B&B on the street of the same name, was a relief. Even more so when the taxi driver only charged me $35, (perhaps there had been a lost in translation moment with the fee?) ...

The small Swiss-inspired town

... Canada if someone drops you off there.

Then we took a walk along the Promenade des Gouverneurs. Very nicely build for pedestrians to walk just under the wall of 'La Citadelle' - having a wonderful view on the river.

It is all beautiful and it feels like home when walking through the old city.
