... Chocolate! We were having a chocolate making workshop, just the two of us. They were so nice. The main chocolatier who is Swiss is married to an English lady and he'd just come back from a holiday in Scarborough of all places. Felt a bit guilty about this :).. Anyway, he was so interesting and showed us the whole process from bean and nibs (bits of chocolate) through to the final products. They were making all sorts: salted caramels, ordinary ...
... absolutely lovely view and we have been blessed with the weather. Sunny and warm. Lausanne is so pretty in this area. Very Belle Epoque. The lunch was fabulous too. A tartare of lake fish with a mustard cream cheese sauce followed for me by courgette flowers stuffed with a mousseline of lake fish and a basil cream sauce. Just delicious. I sampled the girls' dessert plates which were delicious.

With that out of the way - Going to see her was a little traumatizing, I was feeling quite anxious and very afraid. I had some stuff I wanted to give to her that we accumulated whilst together, such as skates etc...I knew she would want them....I also gave her a small care package that I think she might have liked...not sure.

... until we found a campsite then decided to turn round and go to the park. They would play on there all day if we let them, it was very hot so I took them back to the van. Wifey was sat there reading her book and tanning her legs. We decided to set off towards France to go to an aires called Mouthe because they have a laundrette and we need to wash the bed clothes for the first time.
