This morning was the first day that we had free time. We didn't have anything scheduled until 11:45. One of our choices for free time as to take a ski lift up a mountain. Once we got Tia certain point we had to hike the rest. We were above the tree line and above the clouds. The view was absolutist beautiful! I can't even think of words to describe it and pictures can only tell so much. After we climbed back down we took a bus to the Castle of Chillon and took a tour. It wasn't ...

... is not "exactly" correct. According to our precise GPS time, the trains are frequently four to seven seconds late... We get off the train again at Wengen, a beautiful little village perched improbably on an alp well above the valley floor and browse our way through a patisserie. ... through another one that was one the first platform. We had to catch two trains to get to Jungfrau. The first one was a yellow and green we caught it up to Kleine Scheidegg. We then changed trains and caught the red Jungfraubach to the top. At this stop a lot of skiers got off. I'd been watching them the whole way up thinking "they make it look so easy".

Part of our group went skiing and snowboarding today. When they returned they said there was ...

... did we know)! First off, the Swiss trains are like clockwork...always on time and never leave a second late. We boarded our 2 hour train from Lucerne to Interlaken (which then goes to Lauterbrunnen where we were crashing for 2 nights) and this was hands down the most awe-inspiring train ride EVER! If this train ride existed in the USA people would travel hundreds of miles for a chance to ride this train but here it’s just how ...
