Had a better sleep last night and a very nice breakfast of crusty buns, baguette and croissants with cheese and ham, fruit, yogurt and coffee. We ate in the solarium with the koi. Again beautiful China and presentation. Unfortunately Onez has severe leg pain this morning so we are going back to Balen instead of exploring more..it is still ...

      Bye for now!

... States. Once the Aggie contingent I met at the bar (big surprise) found out I had made the trip by myself, they basically adopted me into their group. Where they went. I went. Who they met. I met. It was a lot of fun and it really is unique to continue to see the Aggie network play out as I've seen it done so many times in the past. Just cannot say enough about the generosity of the people and the enthusiasm they were having on the trip. ...

... no wind. Not bad. Stopped for soup at Rochefort. More road works and pavements being replaced. Good soup and back on the road, this time taking the road less travelled. Obscure roads through tiny villages veering across the countryside.

Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated as the afternoon progressed. Drove through persistent rain to the small hamlet of Cartigny. Think ...
